Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings – TSR
Spherical roller thrust bearings have specially designed raceways and asymmetrical rollers. Bearings can withstand axial loads acting in one direction and radial loads acting simultaneously. The load is transferred between the raceways through the rollers at an angle to the bearing axis, while the rib guides the rollers.
High load capacity
A large number of rollers, with optimal conformity to the raceway of the shaft ring, help the bearing to withstand heavy axial and radial loads.
Misalignment allowed
GSNK spherical roller thrust bearings are self-aligning and tolerate misalignment.
Separate design
GSNK thrust spherical roller bearings are separable, allowing their races to be installed and removed independently of the shaft washers and roller and cage assemblies. Furthermore, this facilitates maintenance checks.
high speed capability
The cage design and optimum alignment of the roller and washer raceways make the bearing suitable for relatively high rotational speeds.
long lasting
The special roller shape reduces edge stress at the roller/raceway contact.
low friction
Optimized roller end/rib contacts keep frictional heat at a low level even at high speeds.
